The Census:
America’s Scoreboard
This Friday, the
Dodgers will kick off the 2010 preseason against the Chicago
White Sox but more importantly, it is the debut of new Dodgers
radio commercial on the 2010 Census.
The Census is
America’s Scoreboard - it’s the full count of our
country. It’s how the federal government divides our tax
money and determines how much money California gets for our
schools, roads and healthcare.

UFW needs YOUR signature to stop sexual
harassment at Giumarra Vineyards
According to
a recent lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission (EEOC), a teenager was subjected to repeated sexual
harassment while working for the nation's largest table grape
grower--Giumarra vineyards.
Instead of dealing with the
situation like a responsible employer, Giumarra Vineyards fired
this young girl. They also fired two of her relatives and a
friend who complained to management.

March for California’s
Future
