Protect Skilled Union Jobs at Tesoro Refinery. Cutting Corners is Dangerous Business.

In late May, Tesoro Refinery officials decided to dump dozens of union employees, including some with more than 25 years of experience at the “coker” facility. Tesoro is trying to replace these skilled workers with an anti-union outfit.

Cutting corners at a refinery is dangerous. Skilled union employees from our community know how to operate and work safely at the refinery.

Saving good union jobs helps everyone in our harbor community. Please join us for a community dinner and meeting. Food and refreshments provided.

Sponsored by: The Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO, ILWU, United Steelworkers Local 675, Communities for a Better Environment, Los Angeles City Councilmember Janice Hahn, 55th District State Assembly member Warren Furutani.
