Fired workers speak out on the need for the Employee Free Choice Act

Hundreds of workers and community supporters held a rally outside of Senator Dianne Feinstein's L.A. office today urging her to support the Employee Free Choice Act, federal legislation that would help workers earn good wages, healthcare and retirement benefits by signing a card to join a union. Among the various organizations joining the workers  were the ACLU of Southern California, Courage Campaign, Sierra Club, Stonewall Young Democrats, Latino Equality Alliance and Member of the Board of Equalization, Judy Chu.

Join us for the Big March on Senator Feinstein's L.A. Office

Senator Dianne Feinstein has no problem voting to bail out big banks to help President Obama stabilize the economy. In fact, her big business friends oppose President Obama's promise to sign the Employee Free Choice Act, federal legislation that will help workers earn better wages, health care and retirement benefits, by signing a card to join a union.

We need to tell Dianne Feinstein that working families need a real shot at bargaining for better wages that will help lift themselves out of this recession.  She needs to support the Employee Free Choice Act.
